Follow Your Heart

A chance encounter last Thursday led to an interesting conversation about life choices, particularly related to health and livelihood. The mutual conclusion: Life is Short. Follow your heart and do what you love.
Are you? If not, what would have to change for you to be able to do so?

This is definitely my mantra! I am happier now than 10 years ago when I retired from work life.

Personal fulfillment is really crucial to happiness, isn’t it?

Yes, I am doing what I love, but I just wish it provided financial stability!!! So I’m working on that part!
I’ve been giving this a lot of thought too and I could get a *real* job, but when it hurts my health to do so, I don’t think the money is worth it.

Amen, sister. I like both of my jobs and find them very fulfilling, as well as my volunteer work. And have a great set of friends and family. I’d love to travel more, wishing I had the time and means to do that, but I think that’s my only regret at this point in my life.
