My life is clothed in Bubblewrap
On Tuesday I signed a contract with the moving company rep and it was a relief! They’ll be able to do it nearly on our preferred time frame.
I’ve learned some things during the preparation for this relocation:
1) I hate those stupid packing tape dispensers. The tape is forever getting twisted and stuck. I’m sure I can do it faster just stretching and cutting by hand.
2) You can never have too many boxes.
3) Even when you own “practically nothing,” it’s still too much when you are moving.
4) As soon as you pack something and seal the box it is in, you will need it.
5) You should keep dinner parties at your wrecked home to a minimum during this process.
