Today I made a 9 hour round trip to deliver the SAQA IL/WI Stitched Together exhibition to its next venue. New Visions Gallery in Marshfield, Wisconsin is a beautiful facility in a wonderful setting, with a terrific staff. We’re so fortunate to have our exhibition there!

Founded in 1964, New Visions Gallery is now officially part of the Marshfield Clinic Health System. “This move enables New Visions Gallery to continue our programming and outreach with the Central Wisconsin community,” said Bobbie Erwin, New Visions Gallery executive director. “Gallery employees, as well as the hundreds of gallery donors and volunteers, are strong believers in the healing power of art, and being a part of MCHS will allow the gallery to bring that power to more patients and families.”

New Visions maintains and interprets a fine collection of contemporary original art, Japanese prints, fine art posters, Haitian paintings and West African sculptures and masks. The artwork is on display in the main facility, as well as in the satellite locations of MCHS. One can take a self-guided walking tour through the main facility and explore the artwork displayed throughout.

Stitched Together will be on exhibit from September 11 – October 27. New Visions Gallery is located in the main lobby of the Marshfield Clinic at 1000 N. Oak Ave, Marshfield, WI 54449.

Join us for an opening reception on Sunday, September 10 from 1-3 p.m. The gallery is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
